Went to Sim Lim over the weekend to get myself a new PC. The old one is having problems with its mother board, can't detect any drivers, so all my data is as good as gone. Plus the RAM is not enough for online game play. Add that to the blood Starhub broadband and you'll understand the need to pay Sim Lim a visit.
Speaking of Starhub, the bloody ISP tricked me with the marketing gimmick of free upgrading from MaxOnline 1500 to 2000, like its of any bloody use. When I was playing online games, it lags so bad that I thought I was still using the ancient 56k modem! Either the broadband is fucking lousy or the whole entire bloody estate decides to watch the latest Taiwanese/Korean/Japanese soap operas at the same time. Lucky its not the EPL season (at least I don't think it is, I'm one of those rare species of guys who don't give a fuck if Beckham pulls a hamstring or if Fergie made a bad decision and screws Man-U's chances of winning whatever cup it is that they should be winning) or else worse. I should have switched to Singnet when I have the chance. Anything with 'Sing' or 'Singapore' should be the best right? Since Singapore Pte Ltd is always fighting to be the best in everything.
So anyway, I got myself a P4 3.0ghz, 512meg RAM and a decent NIVIDIA 5500 graphic card which should last me another 3 years, unless that bloody Microsoft decides to come up with a P5 or something. Sets me back by 1.5k, from Sim Lim somemore! And I thought that place is supposed to give you the best value for money! Totally evil. Besides the stuff I mentioned, all I get is a lousy multimedia keyboard/optical mouse and a pair of $3 speakers! If I were to get better speakers and wireless keyboard/ mouse, then I'll expect to fork out another $200 or so, cheap my ass lei, might as well get a HP wor.
Back to my online game. A3 is just so cool! Got myself into a Knighthood.
Knighthood = a clan where you could go kick some ass with members of your clan
And it seems that most of the players are mature people in their 20s and even 30s... hahaha. What a fresh change. I'm sick of playing games infested with childish school kids, teenagers who act, well childish.

I was watching the grand finals of Project Superstars. Actually I don't quite understand why the hype about William Chen Wei Lian. I don't dispute the fact that he can sing but he is defintely not the best.
All those fans who were interviewed will almost surely reply in this standard format 'Wei Lian can really sing, his songs really gan3 dong4 dao4 wo2 (moved me), but
I vote for him not because he's visually impaired, although he does have it tougher than the other contestants.'
Duh? Do I need to say more? If you twerks did not vote out of sympathy, then don't keep harping on the fact that he can't see, damn it!
Frankly speaking, I think Junyang
and Sin Hui possess more of that Superstar quality. Too bad that they lost due to sympathy or fake patroitism. So a Malaysian PR can't be a Superstar and yeah, Wei Lian did not win cuz he's visually impaired? I have my doubts on the rationality of the voters. *Pui
These two are the real Superstars, if you ask me:
