How many times have you heard people complain that their superiors suck big time? Unreasonable bosses? Bosses who are over enthuastic? Bosses who treat their staff like Philipino maids (no pun intended)?

The fact is, as least that what I think it is, comes from the one who sits at the very top. It is this god-almighty, fear-inducing figure that dictates the culture of the organisation and that is, the most worst nightmare of any employee if that figure head is a tyrant/ utter bitch.

Imagine this, kids fresh out of school are placed in supervisory roles simply because... *drum rolls*.... they have a fucking degree!!! And of course, having a degree means you are smart and able to lead, right? I mean, they must be somebody to have achieved that qualification. Well, not anymore! Nowadays, graduates flood the bloody streets, and just because some of you people out there are rich enough or maybe, just maybe, smart enough to go through the primary --> secondary --> junior colledge --> university route means that you are better than the rest of us who work our way up, endure the shit you people throw at us and still able to get a degree in the end!

Sure, you guys got it from the local uni... *claps*, but hey, do you guys have to endure 8 hours of shit in the day time, attend classes at night and then plan your leave right down to the last second so that you could study for that test?

Don't give me the crap about how tough it is to study, especially not from you people bcuz, how fucking hard it is to attend 2 hours of lecture, have lunch for 2 to 4 hours, then go tutorial (which I do not think most of you do your homework anyway) and then go Zouk on mambo nights?
So don't ever fucking tell me part time degrees are not recognised cuz they are well, part time degrees. Your full time degrees are made up mostly of a module called 'long break in between classes' so yeah, full time my ass!

Anyway, back to my point, life at work sucks when the tyrant/ bitch bestows upon these minions the power to give their dirty work to those of a lesser standing in the hierarchy. And the goldn rule for these 'nobles' is that they are not supposed to be on friendly terms with those whom the witch deems as commoners, meaning all others who are not full time degree holders. And when power gets into their heads, a few things will happen.

1) These nobles suffered from 'get stupid syndrome'. Suddenly, they have forgotten how to plot graphs in excel, can't type as they have to beg us to update some documents for them, (when everything is easily available and all they need to do is to change the date, change the status, you know what I mean) becuz they are having a meeting with the big boss in 5 mintes (didn't they teach you time management in your uni???).

2) 'Day dream syndrome' - Suddenly these people seems to think that since they are so free (hello dickheads, who's doing all your work for you?), they have to come up with more initiaives and more projects to do, so that they could justify their worth. So, when these nobles get together, they fantasize about all these wonderful things that they plan to do, and somehow, they think that, in their day dreams, everything will materialise like a genie from a lamp, just with a snap of fingers. Guess who ended up doing the dirty work so they could claim credit?
What is a humble employee gonna do in a situation like this? Not much I guess, except the following:

1) Look for job and get the fuck out of there!
2) Keep quiet and endure, it's just a job anyway.
3) Grumble to your colleagues in the pantry or during lunch, then its back to work.
4) Fight for your rights, and forever be the target for more shitty jobs/ assignments.
5) Go with the flow, hope to rise in rank so that you could pay back in 3 folds to those who now work below you.

Not very encouraging eh?

P/S: I have lotsa uni grad frens but they are not that snobbish at all =)
