Recently, my white MP,
Knok on my door, and very kek ki..
Say 'I've worked so hard, so vote for me',
'Or rubbish won't be cleared, in your vicinty'..
I said 'Dear MP of my GRC',
'Dun remember u, so please pardon me'..
'I only saw you on TV',
'Dozing off and jiak liao bee'..
Last GE, I voted for thee,
2% up in GST..
Cut CPF and up utility,
Are still very clear in my memory..
5 years later, then you come to me,
Fresh from your slumber of ivory..
Say that only, you can help me,
Escape from a life of poverty..
Just take a drive on CTE,
Count the number, of all the gantries..
Or squeeze a ride on the MRT,
That has not been cleared for ye..
My life since the last GE,
Has been downhill though I voted PAP..
If I vote the same for your sleeping spree,
I can expect the same misery..
So this time round, I vote for somebody,
Who will kachiao you, to productivity..
Forms fill wrong, no big deal to me,
If there's someone to speak up for me..
So dear MP of GRC,
If life no improve, vote u cho simi?

I have always believe that time never heals all wounds but it merely numbs the pain, so tat when you finally think of the past, you are able to tell yourself that you are no longer affected by it and you are able to move on.
Actually, I wish everyone will stop asking me how I'm feeling about JL's getting married on 6 Oct. I mean what you people expect me to feel lei? Initially when I get to know of the news, was feeling kinda lousy especially when I recalled that particular day, when she told me with tears in her eyes, that she may end up with someone whom she doesn't really love but becuz her parents like that guy.
But now, I just hope what she said wasn't true and that she does love the guy, and that she will be able to forget me totally. Otherwise, I really pity her and I hope that tyrant of a mum knows wat she's getting her daughter into. Anyway all that is beyond me right now.
So has time numb the pain in me? Maybe it has, maybe it hasn't. But does it matter? Life still goes on....

Here is something to link the 5C's to the newer 5B's! (A bit bo liaoz... hehehe)
I don't need a CAR, but I want a BMW
I don't need a CONDO, but I want a BUNGALOW
I don't need you to have CASH but I want you to own a BANK
I don't need you to have a CAREER but I want you to be a BOSS
It's interesting for you to read!
Most of you would have heard of the Singapore 5C's! :
Car, Condo, Credit Card (Gold), Cash and Career
Heard of the 5B's?
B - BMW
B - Body
B - Brain
B - Billionaire
B - Bungalow
And addition with the 5K's.
Kiasu (scared of losing)
Kiasee (scared of dying)
Kiabor (scared of wife)
Kiaboh (scared of having nothing)
Kiacheng hu (scared of government)
We've been reading about the 5C's and 5K's for Singaporeans, now comes the 5 numerals and Malaysia's equivalent.
Singaporeans' "practice" for Simple Living:
1 - One Wife
2 - Two Children
3 - Three Bedroom Condo
4 - Four Wheels
5 - Five Figure Salary
Malaysian Malays' "practice" for Simple Living:
5 - Five Children
4 - Four Wives
3 - Three Figure Salary
2 - Two Wheels
1 - One-Storey Link House

Was chatting with a friend the other day and he was telling me how depressed he was over how he finds himself a failure in life and how things seem to be out of his control. Why he couldn't match up with his other friends who are more successful in terms of jobs and relationships.
*Sigh* Lemme ask whoever is reading this somethin. Why do we always have to measure up? Sure, it can be a form of motivation for us to improve and to climb higher, but when is it gonna stop? There will always be that someone who earns a higher pay, drives a bigger car, has a better looking boyfriend/ girlfriend who treats her/him like no other. And then wat? Is it all that important to be on top of the mountain? How many of us can actually reach the summit? And is there space for us all? There is a reason why the summit is always narrower than the base, its ok to aim for the highest but then one must realise that not everyone is destined to be at the very top, so why not live life as it is, and enjoy what we have, instead of lamenting on what we dun have?
Sure, being able to zip around town in a car feels good, but there can be joy in just takin public transport. At least you dun have to get high blood pressure cuz some goons happen to cut into your lane without warning, or worry about not being able to get a parking lot during weekends, or that the price of petrol is increasing (ok, we are gonna wory abt that even if we dun drive cuz its gonna result in fare hikes)
And who's gonna judge us as a failure in life? Most of us have a decent job with a decent pay, it may not pay alot but at least it allows us to have simple pleasures after the bills. I'll take that as being rather successful cuz we dun have to rely on handouts like many of those poor people out there who can't even feed themselves.
I say, be happy with wat we have now and enjoy life while we can =)

Met up with Sis and Ah Na on Fri... Its great catching up with them... known these gals for like, *gasp* 12 years liaoz but there was a period of void in between as we were busy with our own lives... oops paisei paisei... u gals were in constant contact... its me who has gone MIA... happy now?
Finally have a chance to exercise my right as a Singapore citizen yesterday. The whole process took less than 5 min but it was quite an experience. But voting is definitely not secret! Each and every tix is tagged to an individual's particulars, so there is definitely a way to track who vote for who, no matter wat the gahmen say. But I dun think they so free and bo liao to go track la, I mean so wat if they know I dun vote for them? Surely they not so petty as to go all out to make a living hell out of my life? Its gonna take lots of effort and resources lei, so may I suggest that the Pui And Pui try to bribe me with a larger Progress Package? Its easier and who knows... they may be able to take back Hougang and Potong Pasir the next time round...
