And so, had dinner with Rach and then we met up with some other colleagues and ex-colleagues at Timber... Its like an outdoor pub hidden in some godforsaken corner of Ochard Road (near SMU) with live band... the band ain't bad but the songs are a bit old school, nice place to hang out with frens but not really suited for drinking...
The gang isn't really much fun to hang out with, not much drinking and not much trash talking, just eat and drink and listen to the band, got quite bored after a while but still ended up staying there till after 1am...
Well the lass dun really feel like going home so we ended up in MH for some more drinks... Since she was feeling a bit down, the objective was to get pissed drunk so that she can pluck up enuf courage/lose enuf sanity to call whoever she was supposed to call and give the other party a hell of a scolding although Dennis The Shrink tried his best to convince her that its really pointless and as usual, tried to make her see the point that the problem probably aint with the guy...
Conclusion? At 3.30am, I dun think she gets it and we are not pissed drunk...
How can anyone get drunk on whisky-green-tea-peng-poh (diluted whisky green tea with ice, if you are not hokkien trained)? Suspected the pub ran out of whisky too cuz initially they told us they ran out of bourbon coke... How can a pub run out of booze??? But ok lah... the jug cost like $24 so it not all that bad...
p.s. Took a so called scandalous pix with Rach that she said must post in my blog... This is a dangerous move, considering the fact that my readership may drop and I may have to shut down the blog after the pix is being posted...p.p.s. The pix is with one of my colleague's camera, so you guys will have to check back in here, for that so called scandalous pix...p.p.s. BOM, think you nid to tell your fren that they need to buck up a bit in MH, the KTV system is giving problems as usual, the waitresses are generally forgetful and the booze tasted kinda like those colored water we used to drink back in army cook house =(
