And then
Rach told me she and
her sister had already done their blogging and I have to really refrain myself from reading what they had blogged, so anyways, you guys can always read their version if you are interested, in case I missed out certain stuff (but I guess you dun really care, unless of cuz, if you plan to go Taiwan in the near future, so anyways...)
So ok, where do I start? How did we decide on this trip? The form up is quite ridiculous actually. Rach called me one fine day and said she wanna go on a trip and I was like yeah, again... You see, she has this bad reputation of planning trips which never materialize, I mean at least the ones that I know of din materialize, so I said, 'Fine, if you managed to actually plan the trip, I'll go'
The next thing I know, I'm supposed to be on this trip with her, her sis and a guy whom I had heard of but dun really know and he's gonna be my room mate for 6 days... But surprisingly, there's some chemistry and we did manage to have fun, so all in all, its a good trip...
So presenting to you, the weird form-up: Me, Rachel, Shifan and Shiyang

By the way, this is taken at a tea shop at this place called 九份 but more on the place later...
Ok, as mentioned earlier, its kinda hard to really decide how this entry is gonna go, so I'll just look thru the pix and blog whatever comes to mind, so here goes =)
Anyways, Taiwan is a basically a food haven, we spent most of time hunting for food to eat... we actually had this printout from the internet on where to go and what to eat there, so we will make a tick once we had ate that, and we would go 'ding dong ding dong', like the 食字路口like dat... a bit ki siao but it seemed fun at the time... For the first 2 days, we skipped lunch and dinner so that we can gorge ourselves silly with random (food)stuff at all the various 夜市
And so, this is all the food pix that we had taken, decided to take the pains in posting them one by one so you guys can have a better look, too bad you can't taste it... *evil laughter*
Mango ice kachiang
Nice looking foodcourt teppan yakki thingy
Wanton mee look alike
Extra smooth beancurd with all kinda goodies
Oyster omelette (abit different from Sg version, its a bit squishy)
Ooooo! Smelly tofu!
Lovely deserts at this store owned by 吴宗宪(Jackie Wu)
And so we conquered

Among the places that we went to, we spent the most time in 九份,besides 士林夜市 and 西门町, where our hotel is. 九份 is like this little alleyway kinda place up a hill bustling with activity.
We bought like one carton of goodies each from that place!
Super friendly auntie
Me and chio chio =)
See wat I mean by alley way?

Oh and we went to this place called 鱼人码头 where we took a ferry and visited this bridge called 情人桥, quite romantic wor...
Here's the bridge
