Went on a kelong trip in Sibu, Malaysia over the weekend with ROvers. The total journey from Singapore to the Kelong took about 4hrs. Not sure if it will be faster if we went by Woodlands checkpoint but at least there was no jam at Tuas...
We set off on Sat morning and everyone was pretty excited about the trip... However, there was a group of volunteers that were actually quite uptight during the whole journey and that's the organsing committee... Its no small feat organising a camp for 46 persons, especially when half the group is made up of IDs (Intellectually Disabled)

Presenting RO Camp Comm for 2006
In case you guys are wondering why I'm donning the gear, the theme of this year's camp is Pirates of Sibu, so no prize for those who guessed correctly who the captain is.. heheh
The main characters
Speaking of main characters, the programmers... heheh we are the most important people wor.. cuz we are the ones who came up with the entertainment for everyone =)

Ta Da... The elite of the elite... With us around, the camp is guranteed a success
Some sea view on our way to the kelong

Everyone is having fun =)
Well actually I'm not sure if I'm supposed to post pics of the members but I guess one, two shots doesn't really matter since they can't really be seen clearly from these shots... Can't post more than these though...

All in all, it was a fun trip and quite an experience... dun mind being part of the organising comm again for the next camp actually, it feels great seeing everyone having a great time cuz thats when you know that all the hard work that goes into the preparation is worth it.
