Went for some Sex last night. From a guy's perspective, it's just a comedy, with some witty dialogues but to the gals, I can see why this HBO series is such a hit.
It's about 4 individual gals (women actually, cuz they are not exactly sweet young things) and their different perspectives on love and relationships and well of cuz, sex. And amidst the persuit of fashion and their own love, the foursome (pun not intended) can always find solace in each other should one of them is down and out. Female bonding at its very best.

Of cuz this being a gal show, the guys in this show cannot be too overpowering. Hence, the hot hunks are basically potrayed as look-good-shaggable males with little intelligence. Those with a slightly higher IQ are gays.
As for the gals' guys, well, I really dun have much to say about them.
Samantha's got herself a Hollywood boy toy who well, basically is the new age sensitive guy any gal would want but she's more interested in fulfilling her never ending thirst for great shags, even at the age of 50. She even got herself an equally horny pooch. >___<
Miranda's got herself a house husband who's frustrated abt not having enuf sex and commited one act of indelity and then spent the rest of the show begging for forgiveness.
Charlotte is abt the one having a happily ever after love life while Carrie, is basically being torn apart trying to forget a guy who can't write a love letter/email/sms for shit, get the cold feet on getting married but other than that, is one filthy rich middle aged uncle who can build her a walk in closet any woman will kill for.
Carrie finally gets carried away when this uncle wrote what seems to be his greatest achievement at a love letter/email/sms when he just wrote 'I knew I screwed up. I will love you forever.'
And tada, it worked! He even got away with just saying 'I do' in Cityhall and no wedding extravaganza.
And of cuz every one has a happy ending at the end of the show.
p.s. Dun think I'll be eating any sushi in the meantime.
