When TSO told me she's booking me for 6th Sept and 7th Sept, my initial thought was that she's gonna celebrate my bdae in advance, most probably at a chalet or at some hotel for a romantic getaway.
But it turned out that the getaway was a 35min ferry ride away in Batam.
I was really touched cuz TSO hates ferry rides but she actually decided to risk getting seasick for me. Love ya lots. Muacks!
Special thanks to A&J too =) You guys had been wonderful travelling companions.
We spent the weekend here at Turi Beach Resort:
The rooms we stayed was in the new wing and it's really really nice! The pix failed to do justice to the actual decor. The room is very spacious and there's a flat screen LCD TV, wall mounted one ok? Not the lok kok CRT type. Trust me, it's super nice and cosy. You guys should go, if you are looking for a resort getaway.
The mirror adds to the romantic element, if you know what I mean, hiack hiack.

After checking in, we took a taxi out to town for some A&W. It used to be one of our favorite fastfood outlets but dunno why, they have been extinct in Singapore. The one at Batam was not so nice though
The town was rather boring, so after the A&W, we went back to the resort and nua for the rest of the afternoon and had seafood feast for dinner.
The next day after breakfast, we went for jetski-ing and banana-boating. And before we knew it, it's time to take the ferry back to Singapore >.<'
